What is The Program?
The goal of The Program is that you break free from your anxiety and panic attacks forever.
The Program is a self-help program you can follow at your own pace. It will first provide you with the right knowledge. You will then apply it to your own life. Always in little steps. It is not about pure exposure, quick tricks or a specific breathing technique that is going to solve your anxiety and panic attacks instantly. If such things existed, you wouldn’t be looking at this website right now.
It is rather focused on changing your thinking patterns and behaviour in a holistic way. This means that we will work on improving your life altogether through the factors of stress, movement, rest, nutrition, relationships, sleep, and finding your purpose in life.
You will develop self-care and self-leadership, so that you will feel that you are in charge of yourself. You will learn how to work together with your body, instead of ignoring or working against it.
The material is based on scientific knowledge of (neuro)psychology and anxiety, lifestyle and hormone health coaching, plenty of books and interviews, and my own experience with panic attacks and overcoming them. The Program includes personal stories and tips and recommendations for apps, YouTube channels, and podcasts that inspire me or that I personally find very helpful and might do the same for you.
Some facts.
- The Program consists of 8 units and 2 extra (optional) units and can be followed completely from home, at your own pace. It’s a good option when therapists in your area have a long waiting list, but you want to start working on your problem right now.
- Each unit consists of an audio track lasting 10 to 30 minutes that includes multiple assignments, references to useful apps or YouTube videos, and sometimes extra reading material.
- You always have access to multiple relaxation audio tracks with and without guided breathing.
- You can spend as much time on each unit as you need, with a minimum of one week per unit.
- On average, you will need to invest around 30 minutes a day.
